Birthday Girl

Hi guys! For those that did not know, last week 9/11 was my birthday! Thanks again to all who wished me a happy one! I had an amazing time with my dearest loved ones, funny thing is I did not plan much; everything kind of fell into place and...Just happened. Who else loves when things turn out this way? I celebrated at the NYC Sugar Factory American Brasserie. The restaurant was great! This place is definitely a birthday spot! The vibe and crowd was fun, food was yummy, and the drinks were AMAZING. If you're in the area make a stop! I was also triggered to capture some pictures at the amazing Gansevoort cobblestone streets; I kind of wish all of New York City streets looked like this. I just love the old-fashion way. These were all taken with an iphone 5s so pardon the low quality.

First off Happy New Years to all! I hope everyone is off to a great start for 2015! I am so ecstatic about this year already because great events have taken place in so little time. One of the events happened to be doing hair & make-up for the models of the new online woman apparel store, Lush Rebel. It was such an honor and so much fun working with the team who happen to be my closest friends. Knowing it was pretty much everyone's first time for their part of the project made it nerve wrecking, exciting, yet so accomplishing all at the same time!  Surely this was my first time doing hair & make-up for a photo-shoot, I tried to keep it natural, since the whole purpose of the photos is for clothing. The models were definitely looking flawless and stunning! Below are some head-shots of the models. And one of the main reasons why is due to dealing with the dry skin, who wants ashy? We just want moist and glowy! Well I have found a easy and helpful way to fix this issue one of the best cures for dry skin is extra virgin olive oil. Just add a few teaspoons of it to a bath or buy soap that already contains extra virgin olive oil. This will instantly moisten your skin! Try and comment below on your result!

Now even more great reasons to enjoy blueberries! This little berry will soften dry skin, boost your brain, and may even prevent cancer. They can be added to almost any food like pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, juice and salad. Don't forget to pick up some blueberries the next time you go grocery shopping!
