DIY Makeup Brush Holder

Girls, if you find yourself with an unreasonable amount of makeup brushes but no space or place to put them in, look around your house. How many candle jars do you have? Were you thinking about throwing them out once they were done? DO NOT. You can get more uses out of these jars then you think! Starting with a pretty brush holder! This will cost you $0.00 and last you forever. Below are the instructions which I find to be entertaining for a day you find yourself bored in the house with nothing to do.  Have fun! STEP 1: Freeze the wax left inside the jar for about 2 hours. Although I rather leave it in the freezer for 1 day because I believe the wax comes out easier when it is left longer, especially when there is a large amount of wax. STEP 2:  Take a regular or butter knife to crack the wax so it comes out. STEP 3: Clean your jar. There are several ways to do so, such as using baby oil, or dishwashing soap. Birthday Girl

Hi guys! For those that did not know, last week 9/11 was my birthday! Thanks again to all who wished me a happy one! I had an amazing time with my dearest loved ones, funny thing is I did not plan much; everything kind of fell into place and...Just happened. Who else loves when things turn out this way? I celebrated at the  NYC Sugar Factory American Brasserie. The restaurant was great! This place is definitely a birthday spot! The vibe and crowd was fun, food was yummy, and the drinks were AMAZING. If you're in the area make a stop! I was also triggered to capture some pictures at the amazing Gansevoort cobblestone streets; I kind of wish all of New York City streets looked like this. I just love the old-fashion way. These were all taken with an iphone 5s so pardon the low quality.  TOP:  Love Culture, SKIRT: Fashion Nova, SHOES: Bakers

Understanding Your Skin Tone

Have you ever walked up to a foundation counter and have no clue of which color best suits you? So you turn to the employee behind the counter for help because you would think they are the savvy’s and they end up referring a foundation color that is either too light or too dark for you. I can relate! My very first time ever purchasing a foundation was from MAC at a Macys counter, I never tried it on at the store because I trusted the nice lady who helped me. Sadly most of these people behind a beauty counter are just a salesperson, and know just as much as the clients who go looking for help. Anyways So I waited until getting home to see how this foundation looked and Lord knows how dark that thing was on my face! That turned out to be a life learning experience. It is good to know what your complexion, and undertones are. It took me a while to understand but with research done I can now say I trust myself when I go get foundations or powders on my own instead of relying and h...
