Contouring is one of the oldest techniques used in the makeup industry, it is well known for being used for photo shoots and runway models. The whole purpose of contouring is to define and enhance certain areas of the face while shading and highlighting to bring out or minimize features. Contouring is rapidly becoming part of many girls daily makeup routine nowadays leaving others wondering "how do I get that look"? So I would try my best to explain how to achieve the look and suggest what products to use. I do advice sticking to matte colors rather than liquid. A matte color gives a more realistic finish opposed to liquid giving a dewy look. Both look great if blended out correctly, but I have to say using mattes is my favorite way of contouring.
